Secondary School Access Support

This program supports eligible learners in achieving their Ontario Secondary School Diploma by offering a range of assistance tailored to individual needs. Services include help with school registration, direct payment of tuition fees to the school, and comprehensive educational planning and guidance. Eligibility is established through an assessment of financial need and adherence to specific program criteria. All credits are earned via our partner, Parry Sound International Private School, an institution authorized to grant Ontario high school credits.

Women’s Mental Health & Trauma Support Groups

Our trauma‑informed support groups offer a secure and confidential environment for women who have experienced emotional, physical, or situational trauma. Before enrollment, each participant engages in a private consultation with a program coordinator to confirm the program’s suitability for their individual needs.
Program supports include facilitated peer support and individualized guidance. Participants also take part in activities designed to build confidence and foster personal development. The program offers recovery‑oriented educational sessions, along with assistance to support reintegration into community life.

Employment & Career Readiness Workshops

Our monthly workshops are designed to equip participants with essential skills for entering or re-entering the workforce. Each session covers resume and cover letter development, interview preparation—including mock interviews—digital literacy and effective workplace communication, as well as job readiness and professional skills training. Participants receive preparatory materials in advance and are expected to complete their assignments before attending the workshop. Personalized feedback is provided within 48 hours following each session.
